Humility is also a very powerful weapon against the attacks of the devil. The devil loves to work through our inclinations toward pride, so humble souls are strong against his attacks.
True humility sees all of our gifts and strengths as the gifts from God that they truly are. And true humility rejoices in the gifts and strengths of other people, even if that means they are better or stronger than we are.
